Good morning Jay and everyone:

The high idle transducer is located, as your looking at the engine, on the
left up high and is a round cylinder. This is adjusted with the jam nut on
the front of the cylinder. The push rod of the cylinder pushes on a bell
crank type of clevis to set the high idle. This clevis can and does wear
over time as does the end of the push rod. Adjust it out 1/8th of a turn at
a time, then try it.

In the earlier post on this subject, I simply gave the sequence of
operation and air flows as well as where they came from and went to and
what controlled what.

The air throttle sluggishness was the main theme of that post. The high
idle switch actually opens a valve about just forward of mid way of the
Coach up inside the frame and that is where the air comes from for that
transducer on the engine.
