The first picture is a view from our front window early this morning. The second would have been a Bird of the Week shot on the old forum.
Dry camping in what one travel guide calls a ghost town and the saddest place in Texas - Indianola. Once a major city and seaport, with docks extending out a half mile into the bay, two major hurricanes wiped out the entire place, virtually 100%.
