RE: Brilliant! Be cooler-- drive with the awning out
Update... learning

Bluebird in their wisdom rolled the rear awning backwards....should be rolled into bottom of roller) So IN is OUT.
It seems that for some reason, the wind anemometer sent a signal to the awning to retract... so it extended.
Now I have hand cranked the awning properly and worked on the limit switches . Very confusing as they are backwards to manual. Tech support at Girard was great and have them almost perfect now. I have to manually stop the out as the limit switch may be pooched.
Part of my "Battening down" is to turn the Girard Breaker OFF as there are no safety interlocks.

Worked on it a little more. Limit switches adjusted and everything perfect. Smile
