House Heating Systems Questions
We are in beautiful Zion National Park on 30 amps. On our '86 PT, only the
electric heater in the bathroom works. The heaters in the front and kitchen don't do anything when I turn their knob. I have flipped the circuit breakers in the closet, played with the thermostats, and switched the inputs for the shore power (water heater vs convertor). Is there anything else I need to do before I start checking voltages, etc? The front propane heater doesn't put out heat either. The fan turns though. Is there a reset button? What is the ignitions source for these heaters? BTW, the LPG line is turned on at the heater, and the thermostat over the sofa is on. After almost tearing the refrigerator apart, because I couldn't get it to run on propane, then discovering the propane detector needs to be on for propane to flow, I'm leary of taking apart anything without checking with you guys first! I was running around for 15 minutes trying to get the other LP heaters to work, until I remembered the switch on the dash:-) Steve & Jane Harrie St. George, UT [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
