genset tray
Glen,
I modified my 78 FC to get rid of the Onan 6KW and install a 10KW Wrico
Diesel which was the biggest I could get into the space. The best mod I even
made to any RV! I am sure you could modify/repair the stock rack. You might be
able to simply jack up the deck and put some reinforcing braces across the
inside of the deck fore and aft of the gen mounts. Cutting the hole probably did
weaken the deck. If you need any help, give us a call. 940-241-2244

mine is factory as far as i can tell and it is above the floor
you musta had somebody cutting on the floor to change oil with
outsliding the set out or ......a add on big dia. gen set that
wouldnot fit under frame!

that is why scott got a side mounted gen set in his fc at powerteck!
