which could be hazardous. Good point John. The .25" tube that was disconnected was made of a hard plastic. I think George was right, in that it does not carry the heated exhaust gasses. I'm wondering, if you had a crack on the exhaust side, would the symptoms be a bunch of black smoke? What other gauges would go out of the normal parameters? Other than the gauge reading zero, and a lack of acceleration, everything else was normal for me. I agree that 600 degree gasses escaping into the engine compartment could/would be dangerous.
