headlight upgrade problem
I was in the middle of some repairs and had to use the coach for a
medi-vac type thing. Hence I did the headlamp upgrade very quickly. I
used one relay for the low beams and one for the high beams. Brand new
circuit breakers for both of them. Everything seemed fine. We left
right before dusk for a 700 mile trip (one way). When I turned the
headlights on at dusk, the drivers side light was cutting in and out
randomly. Since I wasn't in a position to stop and check the
connections, we just keep going. After about two hours, it came on
steady and has stayed on consistantly. Originally I thought maybe I
didn't have the relay grounded that well ( I still think I'll re-do
that ). But if that was the problem, wouldn't both lights have been
cutting in and out? Any thoughts?
