Back home from a road trip and a power steering question.
My power steering can leaked as did the fittings going to and from
the can. Bought a new can from BB. Cost $300. It has a vent tube and is a little bit taller. Had my local truck shop replace the can and the leaking hoses..not cheap..had to modify the bottom of can, a little different than the original. All labor cost was $1,400. A lot of time involved at 90 bucks an hour. No leaks now and tow car staying clean. Until I had this done, drilled hole in top of can...works but not for long term.
