Air control valve for forward air bags
No it is quite possible to replace a head gasket in a 3208 without pulling
the engine. Just run a 4X6 through the drivers and passengers windows and
you can use it to hoist the heads up and out. I just don't like working I a
keyhole. The engine that was "rebuilt" 20,000 miles ago before I bought the
coach was just done poorly and I lost faith in it. I had to reseal every
gasket on it to stop oil leaks with the exception of the rear seal, which I
was not willing to get into. The final straw was when a head bolt snapped
all on its own. And as for that little nipple connecting the block and
head. it is there and you have to be careful on assembly not to damage it.

Also I did a little research and a new and improved Height control valve is
available from ridewell. The new valve is supposed to have "minimal
deadband for optimal performance." Think I will give it a try.

Sorry I can't answer your question. But are you saying that it's
impossible to replace a headgasket on an FC without pulling the motor?
From what I've heard there's some kind of nipple connecting block and
head on a 3208 that can fail.
