Sid,

I did this replacement myself. Lift up the matress and you will
find several panels to remove. ( I assume you have a queen bed). You
will then be right on top of the alternator from inside the coach.

Access from that point is fairly easy. Don't be afraid of a 140amp
leece neville alt. Most truck shops have them on the shelf for
about $180.00. If you are going through all the trouble to do the
belts I would do this. I run my bird with this alt. and run my 2K
inverter with no troubles.

The hardest part was pulling the pulley off the original motorola
alt. I had to have a garage do that with an impact wrench.
