Charger amps
Scott, someone at Q said you need no more than 40% of amphour
storage. So if you have 6 T105's with 225ah@6v you have 675ah@12v
X .4 or 270amp worth of charging amps max. ????? The larger you
charg em the less runtime you need with the Genset

I understand that when you have several "SmartCharge" iota chargers
working the same bank you need to link them together with a
controller for twice the amps???? I guess there would be an issue
with mixingup brand of chargers??

The po supplied upgrade chargers in my bus. 2 Yellow Xantrex
trueCharge 40's. They also need modification to work together. Each
output is fused for no more than 40 amps and a big batterybank's
demand trips/resets the internal fuse often. Xantrec tech advised
hooking 2 of the three outputs to the big wire BlueBird supplied
back to the Battery Bank.

In searching for new larger chargers I come to the conclusion that
Xantrex Freedom458 Remanufactured InverterChargers are the way to go.
One 3000watt or two 2000watt is my plan. LucasW gave the
inverter/charger upgrade advice from day one.

I am not convinced that there is no need for truesine wave 120V
output. My question not answered was one Pete brought up about the
possibility of truesine being cleaner burning thus more efficient to
run????????
