M380 Slide Seal Development

While speaking with Roger today I had a chance to ask about the M380 seal development. There would be two setup fees, one for the retainer extrusion and one for the seal extrusion. These fees are $1300 each, or $2600 total. If we made it with no molded corners, Roger estimates we would be at around $400.00 retail for the air seal bladder and about $400 retail for the retainer. The OEM only used molded corners for the retainer - no molded corners for the air seal bladder. If we don't use molded corners for the retainer there will be some wiggling of the inner and outer wipers at the corners.
