"Interesting" Ad
I won't deny that the Bird is pretty good looking, but there is a good
deal of 'hype' in many of his other toys for sale also. The 1983
Corvette would be *really, really* rare, since no 1983 Corvettes were
ever sold to the public! Out of the 44-47 hand-built engineering
prototypes (depending on which 'official' source), they were all
destroyed except one, which now resides in the National Corvette
Museum in Bowling Green, KY. None ever made it into the public. (Ah,
finally a use for the trivia collected during all those years of
Corvette racing! Brings back fond memories. Right Mike McMahan?)
