HWH Service
I recently had a not so favorable experience with HWH, I know
thousands of folks have had great service but I was one who didn't.
I called for an appointment and drove 454 miles to get there, they
had me in and out in about 4 hours. I had one jack repaired and 1
replaced. I was told everything checked out and was working
properly. Like a fool I took them at their word & paid $550. I
drove 240 miles on my way back home, stopped for the night and the
jacks would not lift the bus to level it. The next morning I called
the service department and was asked to return the bird. So I drove
240 miles back to Moscow, IA and was told my pump was bad with no
explination as to why it wasn't tested the first time in.
I was hit with another big bill, No we're sorry we didn't check it
out better, No let us discount it for your fuel expence, No we're
sorry for your inconvience, No nothing. Not a good way to conduct
business, but they did replace my pump and charged me $450 for it.
The new pump works great, for Now! Bottom line don't move an inch
until you check it out yourself, better yet don't pass out the cash
until it is done correctly. I'm out 230 bucks for fuel, 20 bucks for
an RV site, 10 hours driving time and about 20 points higher on my
blood pressure. Plus my wife drove the toad home 215 miles and her
fuel expence. Not a happy camper with HWH.
