PT Cruise Control Replacement

Mine was behaving the same way. They are INCREDIBLY easy to
troubleshoot. Do you have the schematic for the cruise circuit and
valves? The first problem with mine was the 12V supply- a wire between
the relay and module was corroded. The ground was bad too. The second
problem was the RV-1 Pressure Regulator. It was clogged with debris
from the air system. I also disassembled the two air solenoids and
cleaned them with plastic-safe solvent and lubed the o-rings with
silicone. It works great now. Simple 12V systems. I can email the
troubleshooting guide from Bendix if you want it.

It is rarely the module that fails- but Rick Archie found a guy in
DFW that rebuilds them!. Usually one of the components fails or is
having a problem. With the relatively cheap price of fuel- it might be
worth your time to visit Ralph over in Okie.
