this is a good way to clue for shorts in your system like the one that may have
caused the RonM and Dupree fire???? if you have a big amp draw off the
batteries, and nothing is running, the stored energy is going some place.

patterns and trends reduced to some math is my only interest with maintenance
records keeping. comparing the records to others records is vital if you think
something is abnormal. electric bill cost says nothing as I pay over $1,000. per
month at home but $750. of that amount is bulled at $rates +double the cost per
units due to over allotment penalty .

the ammonia refers burn more amps than compressor refers. I also would think
they are less efficient in extreme cold weather also. it is easy to test for
cost of appliance usage Costco sells a consumable amp gauge that you place
between the wall outlet and the appliance. you can input your local utility
costs or just calc the amps used.

if this unit will take the 20 amp pass of the inverter chargers, you can use it
to find the consuming rates then cost of operating various appliances. posted
results by other forum members may help prove efficiency and create a standard
to recognize as normal operation

same goes for tire running temps and axle running temps

When we are hooked up to metered shore power, we switch off the 110 V "Hot Water
Heater" breaker and turn on the Hydronic Heat switch on the dash. This reduces
us from 150.00 to 200.00 per mo in electric to about 40.00 per mo in electric.
Of course we're then burning diesel, but, not much.

We turned off the breaker for the upper flor. lights and that helped some. Then
we turned off another breaker that was labled in large red letters, "SURGE"...
there are two breakers with those red words on them. They do seem to be an
issue here. But now... we also found that the battery charger breaker is
pulling HUGE amounts of elec also. We can't leave it off or our batteries will
be sucked dry. When those breakers are OFF... the meter runs normally...

gotten to contact them yet. Someone used the RED marker to mark those
breakers... so SOMEONE knows something or at least was aware of the problems...

$386................ ouch!!! We can't keep affording that... sheesh...
