Hello Sally,

And WELCOME to the amazing life of BlueBird owners! We are relatively new here
also and have been fulltimers for about three months now. We are still
"shedding" our home furniture, and three storages of goodies so we can be free
of the ties to land. We will be sailing off to Auburn in a month. We have
figured a few things out. It take patience and a LOT OF HELP from the
incredibly generous and knowledgeable people in this forum.

I have to give a shout out to PHIL -who is my personal Hero. His assistance and
persistence helping us as we drove our "Blue" home from Kentucky, was without a
doubt the best thing we could have had. He is an angel. He also made finding
our Bird SO much more efficient and technically sound for us. He shared tons of
info with us and pointed out different things/trade offs on each coach we were
thinking about. There are always trade offs, but buying a sound Bird was in a
large part due to his pre-sale assistance so we found our PERFECT Bird. Phil is
a wealth of caring and information.

And when we get our bird on the road, we shall hunt Phil down and take him and
his wife to the best dinner we can find. I have to thank so many others who
have always tried to help when we had questions.

This forum and its members are huge BLESSINGS! We are so sad that we didn't get
to go meet everyone at Q. I owe Phil a big hug and a bigger THANK YOU -- and
that Lobster Dinner I promised!

My point being, this forum is filled with terrific, talented, giving, helping,
and warm people! WELCOME!!!

--currently in Santa Cruz for another month (ish) then off to Auburn to look for
work.

PS...Anyone know of any construction projects that are in need of a very
talented construction superintendent or the like? From the largest to the
smallest, we are good at building things!
