Jamie, I have gauges here at home that I have for the old freon, R-12, and new gauges for the later R-134. These are for automotive testing. If your units are house type, then a different type of freon is used. There are LOW and HIGH pressure sides to all a/c systems. If you don't have the equipment, and aren't familiar with these type systems, then get someone that does look at it for you. None of us knows everything about everything. If you put in the wrong type freon, or connect a can of freon to the HIGH pressure side, you can get yourself badly hurt. So, as Andy once told Aunt Bea, "Aunt Bea, pay the MAN".
