The adventures of Ron on the road
Posted per discussion with Ron.

I spoke with Ron Marabito last night. He had pulled into Vicksburg yesterday
afternoon planning for a relaxing evening. Unfortunately when he parked and did
a walk around, he found oil all over his rear mud flap. When he looked under
the coach, fluid was pouring out of his transmission. Turned out he must have
run over something on the highway that had put a quarter sized hole in the front
facing side of the tranny pan. He had already found a diesel repair outfit that
had send a man over to remove the pan and take it back to the shop for a welding
repair. He was waiting for the repairman to return last night and reinstall the
pan and a bunch of ATF (he doubts they have Transynd synthetic). On a positive
note, whatever he ran over did not appear to have done any other damage to the
Bird or the toad. Such is life on the road, every trip is an adventure!
