Bird of Week Updated
For newcomers to the forum, Bird of the Week on the home page (at
http://www.wanderlodgeforum.org) features a different member's Bird each
week. It usually updated sometime on Fridays. The prior Bird of the
Week pictures are in an albumn in the "Photos" Link on the left side
of the home page. I have several weeks ahead right now, but always
welcome new submissions. Follow the link below the Bird of the Week
feature to submit your favorite photos.

Thanks,

Thanks Ernie - It was wonderful meeting you as well. Wish we could
have met your wife as well - next time, perhaps.

The two pictures shown were literally taken seconds apart from one
another. Which version of the sky you saw depended on which side of
the coach you stood on. I started washing the coach on the "good sky"
side, actually the entire sky was good when I started. After a period
of time (45 minutes, an hour, something like that) I finished that
side, came around to start working on the front and holy heck, a big
storm had rolled in.

I thought it was hilarious so I snapped the pictures. All the
neighbors blamed me for the storm - you wash your car and it rains on
everyone, well I washed a bus and all hell broke loose.

Thanks, since I'm going to be parked in my daughters yard-- maybe I'll beg the grandkids to shovel. Think they would go for that??

Bird of Week Updated
This week's Bird of the Week is yet one more example of why I do not
live up north any longer. While it is probably one of the stranger
Bird of the Week pictures we have posted, unfortunately, it is very
appropriate for this week, reflecting the arctic cold front that is
covering the nation. It is 38 in San Antonio, TX as I write this at
mid-day and it is supposed to get really cold tonight (at least for
us!). I sure hope everyone in Bill's situation did their
winterization procedures correctly! As for me, I may stop by the shop
and make sure one of the heaters is on and set at 40!

OK, now we need some nice warm pictures as I am out of new entries for
Bird of the Week, so please send in your favorite shots along with
some description (name, year/model, where taken, etc.).

Thanks and stay warm,

Ernie: Get one of those Aluminum grain scoops from TSC or a Farm &
Ranch store...Don't over do it on the shoveling. Have a safe trip.
