Parking brake knob

Ernie the easiest way to replace the park brake valve is to remove the trim
on the bottom dash and pull the dash up far enough to remove the valve.
NAPA has them.

Ernie some of the BB (like my 1982 FC35) did not have 2 microswitches to
turn off the air at the open and closed position. As a result it just keeps
leaking until your wet tank pressure is zero.

The parking brake kknob has been sucessfully- R/R and the coach airs up
faster then ever. He opened the lower dash to see what he was getting in for.

It's easiest from below the dash, it is open to the bottom. The hard
part is swinging the wrenches, a crow's-foot tubing wrench on a short
extension makes it work.

Opening the front panel doesn't help, you can barely see it from the
front. Similarly, opening the top of the dash gives a good view of the
valve, but the fittings are on the bottom & side. Leave the dash in IMO.

air brake? Right now I just have a shaft and a D ring and that's it. Can you

Any truck-part shop should be able to help you, I buy from a fleet
supplier but a Kenworth store, bus service, etc. You are looking for a
parking brake button for the Bendix PP-1 valve.
