While wandering around a salvage yard today I came across a Rostra Cruise
servo unit. Bought it for $5 and always being curious I opened it up. I know that some of you have this unit so if you wondered what was inside, have a look! http://www.pbase.com/cwheeler76779/image/75415072 - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Ed and Peggy,
I have pictures of all the breaker layouts. (Just have to find them) I have them printed and in the BB Book. I will try to assemble them into a PDF file so they will print easily and post them on the site or get John to do it. Yahoo and I don't always seem to get along. Where are you located? Now that I am retired I want to try and meet some of the "folks". - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX _____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Peggy & Ed McStay Sent: Saturday, March 10, 2007 9:01 PM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Cruise Control --- In WanderlodgeForum@ yahoogroups.com, Wayne Willy <badbillybiker@...> wrote: > > Hello Chuck... > Thank You for the really great tour... > Sure would be nice if more NFO was shared and shown like this... > Again Thank You... > Curious on this subject no more... > Badbilly > Chuck Wheeler > While wandering around a salvage yard today I came across a Rostra Cruise > servo unit. In the past I had a very unhappy experience with Rostra and had decided never to
do business with them again. BUT-I ran across Mike at MNR electronics. They supplied a Rostra unit to my mechanic and he and Mike worked tirelessly to get the unit installed. No phone call was ignored or unanswered by Mike. Now have a cruise that works like a charm. Tried it on stretches of steep hills and straight stretches. Anyway dealing with Mike keeps one away from the Rostra Company people and he is just great as is my mechanic. Cost of parts and labor totals less than cost of a King unit. If you have a vintage bird you probably need a cruise. Might want to try them. Mike can be reached at 800-343-1382.
