its gone. What shocked me is the labor rate now. Any work after 4PM is
$92/hr with a 3 hour minimum. What in god has happned????

tom,why not go with the 12-22.5s.they carry a bigger load,and you can buy them
anywhere.they are taller and will help your road speed slightly.you really need

Yeah about the same as the "dells" where you are I am told. Worth every
nickel of it too. Sat on my back porch last night and saw deer wandering in
the meadow, turkeys this morning(the ones you eat and not the ones we
sometimes tolerate). Life is good for the most part.

Randy I checked on those also.....same song and dance. Shortage of rubber
or some other crazy thing. Thats why I asked the question to see if others
were having the same problem. Oh and the other thing I found out is that
all position tires are all but disappearing. I was told that the tire
companies are consolidating their tire lines.

I was concerned about the date code and age of tires in invertory.
The tire dealer stated that there is none in stock. They order and
receive the freshist available. He did not indicate the order wait
time, as I was not ready to decide on manufacturer yet.
Still deciding to decide????????????

Uhh, flimsey sidewall? I'm sure you have some data to show that the
sidewall is inadequate for highway travel. Deeper tread and a thicker
sidewall might be necessary for extended two-tracking and rock-
crawling though.

Perhaps you would prefer the Khumo, from my observations they have
the thickest sidewall.

I presently have 11R22.5 tires on my 93WLWB. Did it come originally
with the 12R22.5 and if so why would anyone change to the smaller
tire? If I switch to the 12R22.5 what load range should they be?
Would it be ok to just put the bigger tires on the steer for now?

Simple, 11R were much cheaper.

Your coach originally came with Michelin 12R x 22.5 LRH tires, I
don't believe that the 11R LRH tires are rated for the weight of your
coach, pretty sure of it at least on the steer axle. You might be
able to sell them to a tire dealer and get a break on new tires.

As far as changing only the steer tires, you'd have to weigh the
coach to know if the 11R tires are rated for the load on the drive, I
don't know. The tag likely can run the 11R 16PR/LRH tires, again
you'd need to weigh it to know for sure.
