Buyer's market
And It Gets Worse:

Apparently WRV ( maker of Alpine Coach and Alpenlite) has closed their
doors. In the next few months I think we will see some more of the
smaller mfrs. do the same. In the end this could be a good thing for
the industry as the survivors mat be able to capture some of that
market share. Survival of the fittest!

Buyer's market
Maury, My comments are a little confusing. I am not saying I
wouldn't negotiate or never have. I just would rather not do
business that way. Some people love it. It's almost like a blood
sport for them. If I thought the fair price for a BB was 50% of the
listed price and I really was serious? I would first ask if the
seller would like me to offer what my research indicated was fair.
And I would offer if not my final offer darned close. Just me.

thought I should had offered my bird to you when we talked about your
search. You truly seem to be the right kind of person to own a
bird,i.e. pretty handy with repairs etc. and render tender care.

Rob, With one worm? what are the completed sale prices? that would
be a good gauge of market price. I guess the few that endup listed
are kinda overpriced because it seems the list is a typical hangout.
I would list the other 10 with the one shown as sold to show
movement. On the surface your list totals close to a million dollars
of market activity.

Buyer's market
Condos' in Florida are like BlueBirds.
Expensive and sometimes hard to sell.
With both there is an inventory glut.
They sell at the price that the seller and buyer are happy.
Presently inventory is high , because the "Sky is Falling"
With issues like fuel, insurance, taxes, bla,bla etc.
Those on the edge of deciding what the future will bring,
are trying to sell and get out from under this burden.
The same number are selling as in the past,
but inventories are still growing.

Hmmm, we're all dead any how, go for it while there is still time. All RVs must be stolen. (figurativelyspeaking) Paying 'retail' is insanity on the level of Congressrelative to theirfree trade obstruction.

Hmm. I suspect that you will find that most Birds are not for sale. Speaking for
myself, as a merchant, most things I own I would part with for the right price,
but that doesn't mean they are all for sale!

I rather routinely get people (business brokers fishing, mostly) wanting to know
if my business is for sale. My answer is yes, but somebody would have to be
crazy to pay me the price I would require. Same applies to Blue Thunder.

Steve, my Bird runs great, looks great, it is highly upgraded, everything works, you don't have to spend a nickel on it at this time, just turn the key and drive away. It is not for sale.
However, if you want it bring a fat certified check and you will no longer be a wannabe.
