water leak suggestions?
If I complete the plan I am currently attempting, I should be able to
put a winterizing fitting in the hose from the tank This should should at least circulate antifreeze through all the fittings associated with the tank lines but probably not to the initial city water line (if my rudimentary understanding of the plumbing is correct). I've got the replacement reinforced hose fished thru from the back of the tank to the kitchen/pump line and it is attached to the pump filter. Now I just need to cut the copper line behind the tank and attach it. This is where the physical and mental gymnastics get interesting. water leak suggestions?
Tentative conclusion is that the repair worked although the Sporlon
valve is sticking so I'm only putting pump pressure on it at the moment, not city pressure. Was able to get agout 3" of hose on the copper and three hose clamps. I'll have to take the Sporlon valve apart to see if I can free it up. The pipes are as follows:
1 is pressurized city water 2 is fresh water from the tank 3 is return from WP to pressurize Hot water tank Stephen Hare 81 FC-33SB Plant City, Fl _____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of davidkerryedwards Sent: Tuesday, June 13, 2006 8:20 AM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: water leak suggestions? I'm still hoping I can avoid a complete replacement at the moment since we have plans to travel in the near future. I found the general area of the broken pipe outboard of the water tank under the left bed. I'll try to figure out which of the three pipes it is and fix or replace. Do you know what the three pipes serve? Why 3? Kerry._,___ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

How does the hot water get from the tank to the front?

Through the regular hot water lines coming direct from the heater.. I guess

I think I still must be missing something. I can only see three lines
coming from the tank/hw heater area going forward. One is from the tank going to the pump under the sink. I had assumed the other two were hot/cold that operated either on city pressure or were pressurized from the pump somewhere under the sink. But if one is a return pump pressure line then it seems another line is necessary for hot. Ok Let me try again.. I think I might have messed up..
1- from fresh tank feeding pump 2- pressurized city water/return from pump when on 3- hot water supply from tank Additionally- there is a copper LP line there and a copper air line from the air tanks to blowout the water system. Ok, I get it now. I found the copper gas line but not the air line.
I'll have to look for it. Kerry -- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Stephen" <share@...> wrote: > > Ok Let me try again..
