Air Conditioner Problem
I am assuming Wanderlodges and BMC's are the same when it comes to a problem
like this I just purchased a 1995 - 37 ft BMC. My rear air conditioner leaks water through one of the top curbside cabinets next to the Bedroom TV. Bluebird told me it is supposed to come out the red tubing which exits down by the back wheels. (the front air does that through the red tubing behind the fron wheel). Bluebird says the red tubing in the back must have become disconnected in some way and they say I need to take off the plastic grate on the inside, remove the ceiling panel, and then carefully cut a hone in the 4x8 sheet of plywood behind that ceiling panel (with a circular saw set not to protrude through the plywood and cut any wires, etc). that sounds like a bad way to go in my opinion. Because a very small amount of water does come through the tubing, I thought perhaps the cups they have installed around the air conditioner to divert the water to the tubing may have become disturbed in some way. I thought I might need to take the air conditioner off the top to fix that and that may be a better way to go then the inside program. Has anyone ever had a problem like this and if so, what is the best way to try to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help Lee Davis [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Air Conditioner Problem
Lee:
The "red" tubing has probably become plugged with debris. I would take a air hose and blow back up the tube from where it exits behind the rear wheel. I'll wager that will fix the problem. Good luck. Air Conditioner Problem
Marv, I also have had my rear A/C put some water on the bed and did
just what you said. I have a 95 BMC and live in Kennewick WA. might be the only bird in town? I am thinking that my next Bird will be a 04 or 05 like yours. How do you like it? would like to talk to you some day? Marty |

We have a wonderful 03 LXi we are looking to sell. We love it but need to put our money elsewhere at this time. Air Conditioner Problem
I actually did that with a leaf nozzle on my water hose and water came out
the air conditioner on top of the bus and ran down the side (so I knew the line was clear)and back down the hose to drain what did not go out the top. Unfortunately, when I tried the air conditioner next, no improvement, the water still comes out in the cabinet. Any other ideas?
