Dupree/Miller will likey reply also...but I have had luck with: 1:
doing a good dump & flush. 2: then removing the two small recessed screws and removing the paddles (this is why you flush well in #1)...if the rubber seal looks good, just clean and lube (i use silicone and avoid petro based for rubber) and reinstall, noting which side faces in/outlet. If the seal is torn, hard or "wavy" around the perimeter...order a new paddle. Pretty much what Frank said.
If the seal is still in good shape, lube with plumber's grease from any hardware. Lubed they should slide open/closed freely, provided the seals weren't installed improperly or are damaged. - Jeff Miller in Holland, MI --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "fwernlein" wrote: > > Dupree/Miller will likey reply also...but I have had luck with: 1: > doing a good dump & flush. 2: then removing the two small recessed > screws and removing the paddles (this is why you flush well in > #1)...if the rubber seal looks good, just clean and lube (i use > silicone and avoid petro based for rubber) and reinstall, noting > which side faces in/outlet.
