Lone Star Birds Rally
The next rally for the Lone Star Birds will be held On June 10-12 at
the Texas Sundown Ranch in Sanger Texas. The theme for this rally is: Chillin and Grillin. Hamburgers and Hot dogs on the grill for Fri. Sat nite: bring your steaks, chicken, sausage, whatever and our master chefs[ we is in big trouble] will attempt to cook them for you. Or better yet, cook 'em yoself!! This rally is a time when we can all get together and relax and visit. There are many things to do around north Texas, from the golf course on site to shopping till I drop. No coach tours- ours is a mess anyway, unless you want to. There is plenty to do if you want- or just chill out around the pool- or work on your coach. If this sounds like something you might like to do- let me know. check out their website: http://www.texassundownranch.com The 4 stooges are the hosts : Joe Losh, Ralph Fullenwide, Bim Burt, and Ernie Ekberg- along with our "bosses" to keep us in line. Hope to hear from you. Oh- the fees--- $17.50 nite for camground. Meals: cheap, cheap- we'll decide later. Ernie Ekberg, roped into another rally |

Lone Star Birds Rally
June 10-12 is rapidly coming upon us. Since that is the same weekend as
the car races at Texas Motor Speedway, it would be nice to hear, privately, from all those that are planning to attend. I have 20 spaces reserved and it looks like we might be close to that. Brenda and I are planning on being there either Wed or Thurs before the rally to iron out all the details. Bim, Ralph and Charlotte and Joe and Kay Losh are the co-hosts. Thanks, Ernie -83PT40 in Weatherford |

Lone Star Birds Rally
If you are attending the LSB Christmas Rally next weekend I am
bringing all of the partts that I have ordered and not used or replaced and had leftovers. Some are used, some are new but while I have no need for them perhaps someone else will or you may have something I need or want. I don't have a lot of stuff but I bet between all of us there is something that someone needs or wants. If you have any Blue Bird stuff you want to get out of your garage why don't you bring it and we can have our own little swap meet. Mike McMahan 89 PT40 |

Lone Star Birds Rally
I just saw the notes on the LSB Rally. Currently there are 19 or 20
coaches here with more due in tomorrow. As Ernie posted, the Blazing Star RV Resort is on Loop 1604 NW of San Antonio. There is plenty of space available. As I type this, we just went under a tornado watch and heavy rains have just arrived. Everyone is hunkered down in their coaches. The park personnel warned everyone to put awnings up and they have opened the club house all night to anyone that wants to stay in there (pets included). I think all the Bird people have opted to stay in their Birds. It was very nice weather up until this blew in, in just a matter of minutes. It should blow through quickly. It is supposed to be nice all weekend. Mike Bulriss 1991 WB40 "Texas Minivan" San Antonio, TX |
