Ah- a "new" modification. Perhaps a new version of a kitchen chopping block.

Hi Terry, I had my water freeze on the street side table- which is over all
the water lines by the bed. That seems to be the weakest link. I wrapped that in heat tape and adjusted the rear freeze protection heater to come on sooner. Temps in the 50s today- stuff is thawing out. How's your restoration going on your coach? Ernie Ekberg 83 PT40 Livingston, Montana [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

I'll be heading south close to Dec 15. Brenda will fly up to Billings on Nov
21 for a week. Would rather do lunch as I can't see too good in the dark. Guess old age is getting to me~ Ernie Ekberg 83 PT40 Livingston, Montana [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Yep, I agree that it looks like it could use a little body work. Bet
the rear half of that frame is toast. Terry Neal Bozeman, MT 82PT40 74FC34 mbulriss wrote: > For anyone looking for a project, here's a 1994. Ernie, that would be the rear "steer" tire we see inside. Makes for
shorter turning radius. Thanks much Ernie to you & Steve. Hope you're staying warm.... Had the
sporlon valve at the water inlet freeze in the PT this week. Going to wrap it in a heat tape tomorrow am. Made me a 50 foot 250 volt 50 amp Shore Power cord today. Heavy but it sure carries the juice. Used 6/4 SWOO cord. Refurb is going well as can be. All the roof vents & bath heater were
replaced this week. Have all the cooling system out of the coach. New radiator, hoses, etc going in next week. Rebuilt turbo, alternator, fan hydraulic drive, etc. while the radiator was out. Plus all new engine gaskets. About ready for respray. Finally getting all the striping tape off. Took a few days just for that part of the prep. Need it to warm up some to paint. Even inside still need it to be a higher humidity before it gets sprayed. Will you be heading South soon? Need to get together before you go. How about dinner one night?
