Things I need to find out...
Hey Larry, I am not sure about the gremlins in the digitel, mine does
not work and really I think it is prolly a Pita, some voice telling
you to do stuff, repeatedly..sounds too much like my ex.hehehe... Any
way on the water I am not sure but on my 86FC when filling the fresh
tank it will overflow for quite a while..starting and stopping etc..I
think it is water sloshing around and going into the over flow..it
will eventually stop overflowing...I would also check the sporlan as
Ernie suggested, not very hard to do and would be good for you to
familiarise your self with the water system.

Glad you are enjoying it..great find.

Things I need to find out...
Larry, when you open the propane valve it is best to open it all the
way to the end. Low amp starts are bad for the brushes and bushing in
the Cat starter. Sporlan is a name I give to a person who works good
only once in a while.

Hi Gardner,
Thanks for the post... The first night that I had the BB out, I stayed at
Wally World, all night...When I went to start the Cat, the batts were weak and
would not start, I then tried the Genny and that batt was weak and would not
start the Gen... I then hit the aux switch and the Gen started... I think there
was enough in the start batts to get the gen started, lucky me, or I would have
to call my newly acquired towing insurance...
The water level is and was full... What I did not know was that the aux switch
tied the gen batt into the mix... I was thinking the four 6 volts were the house
batts and there was another batt for the starter... I guess I will change out
all the batteries...
Thanks

I just re-wired my aux switch which wasn't working. Lucky for me

Things I need to find out...
One drawback to my Bird, like yours, is that it does not have a separate
dedicated starting
battery. If your house usage draws down the 4 6 volters, you have to either
start the
generator to recharge them or hit the aux swtich and get the generator battery
to start it.
I suppose in one sense, a person could consider the generator battery, the
reserve starting
battery.
I bought my replacement 6 volt batteries at Sam's Club. I think they were
around $48
each.
Stayed at Croton Point this summer. Loved the location. Bathrooms were not
kept that
clean.

Things I need to find out...
Hi Sporlan,
Thanks for the laugh and post...
That's a good tip to remember about the starter... Luckily, the coach came with
an extra starter, alternator, water pump and other parts, along with a plethora
of filters for racor, oil, fuel and air...
Again thanks Greg...

Things I need to find out...
Kerry,
I am thinking of going to the Trojan T145 batteries to replace the ones that I
need to replace... They are only 5/8" higher than the T105's that are there
now... I think I will have enough clearance... They are a lot more amp hours...

goes off and starts with announcing the time, which is incorrect,
also the radio stops working for a few seconds, then comes on again
when I close the the closet door... What is this???

fill, it worked fine the first fill up of water, then the second
time I tried to fill up I flipped the tank fill switch it filled up
and then overflowed, I shut the switch off and the water kept
overflowing from the over flow, I assumed this has to do with the
sporlan valve, is this true???

Things I need to find out...
Don,
Thanks for the post... I checked and they are 10 #'s more than the 105's I do
not think an extra 40 #'s will make that much difference, I could always afford
to drop the 40 #;s off of myself...
I have the T105's in there now... Which need to be replaced... That will happen
on Saturday...

want to check the weight on those 145's. I'm using them &
I think they are about 75 # apiece. Four is a lot of weight to carry. I have
used the 105's before in my 79 FC & had good luck with them too. I think
when I have to replace them in my 89 SP I will get the 105's again for the
weight factor. Just something to think about .

Kerry,
I am thinking of going to the Trojan T145 batteries to replace the ones that
I need to replace... They are only 5/8" higher than the T105's that are
there now... I think I will have enough clearance... They are a lot more amp
hours...
