power problem
I am checking the breaker at the wire going to it, or from it. it is a
bryant breaker, doesnt the power come into the breaker behind it where it clamps onto the box? and the big wire connecting to the breaker is going out from the breaker? Anyway, I checked all the breakers and they all had 110 volts. Wher could the problem be after that? Robert Rahn 88 pt 40 Kalispell, Mt. |

What were you checking the 110 volts too? Was it to ground or neutral? Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge" Terrace, B.C. Hi I have an 88 XXV. Did you happen to put glasses or dishes in the cabnet
over the sink to the right? I have a partical kill switch in there. It turns off the front side of the coach, 110v only. Do both volt guages in the overhead front right panel show 110? Yes, input / output to the panel and breaker is as you describe. If 110V
present, the next thing to check is the switch that changes the 110V connection from gen 30/50 and shore power. That switch may be bad. If there is 110V to that switch and not out of that switch, then I think the switch is bad. Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92 "MacAttack Racing" Anaheim Hills, Calif. Paul,
Interesting...I've never heard of a partical kill switch. I do have to admit that every day that I spend working on our 'Bird it is enlightening...always something new to discover. And, it is amazing the differences in these coaches between years. That is what
makes it tough sometimes. Not only the differences in these coach between years. At the Quartzsite
rally several of us found it interesting the differences between coaches of the same model and year. We came to the conclusion that Bluebird did not build any two coaches the same. I have not tried that. I assume that should not matter if the switch is
working correctly. Go ahead and disconnect the shore cord and see what happens, can't hurt anything for now. Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92 "MacAttack Racing" Anaheim Hills, Calif.
