Anniversary
Two years ago, I asked Mike Bulriss, Ron Marabito and Ralph
Fullenwider if they would be willing to help out in the venture that
has evolved into the Wanderlodgeforum as we have it now.
I could not have made it on my own doing all the behind the scenes
activities that we do that not many folks know about.
I owe them a heartfelt thank you and am so grateful that we are
all friends who have a common goal-Bluebirds.
Each of us has a regular job that we must do for a living, and we
work on the forum when we can.
It is in this light that I ask all our members to keep up the good
work of posting questions and responses. Also- the fact that if you
sign your post with your name, year model of coach and or wannabe-
that would make our job easier- as we would not have to post
reminders all the time.
We have come to over 1100 members in 2 years. Now that is a great
accomplishment. I thank you very much.

Holy cow! It's been two years already? I just checked the group
founding date and you are correct..... wow, time flies. Thanks everyone.

Ernie, Mike, Ron and Ralph:

Congratulations on this superb forum/website. I find it most enjoyable
and informative. If I had ownership of a BB, I would be able to
contribute with something worthwhile. I am impressed with the decorum of
the members, the courtesies given and the knowledge that is out there -
and the willingness to be of assistance when called upon. To paraphrase,
"you can tell a BIRD by it's owner." As I roam the highways with a tour
bus, I remark to myself that I would rather view a kitchen, lounge
chairs, a fridge etc as I look in the rear-view mirror - rather than a
lot of people (albeit, delightful-and good tippers).

Again, congratulations on your second anniversary.

Pappy, I like that retro signature. Keep it. Lay some color on it.
As well, this forum is very informative and I do enjoy it. The individuals who
made it work deserve a big congratulations.

Thanks to all four of you as well as all the members of this forum for
their contributions. What a wealth of ideas and knowledge we have at
our fingertips. All you have to do is ask & the answers start flowing.
Makes owning one of these Birds a real easy experience when all are so
willing to share with others.

I was a raw recrute two years ago. I didn't even know it was a new
forum. If it haden't been for the character of people that join this
forum and contribute regularly; I probably would never have
considered a Bluebird, now I own one. I try to contribute if I have
some knowledge or experience on a particular subject, and I am not
offended when I am corrected if I misunderstand something.

This is a great forum and a great bunch of moderators and
members. Thanks for your efforts, it is appreciated.

Gardner- the original forum was started in 2001 by Bruce Morris and
myself. In 2005, upon a disagreement on how the free information that
was provided to the forum was to be diseminated, a split occurred.
Bruce started his pay for play forum and I started the forum as we
know it now. We use to have a lot of pop-up ads, but that is gone
now. Obviously, we have been doing something right. Thank you for you
and all the members participation.

Congratulations to you Ernie, and all your staff here. This is a
great resource for birders. I've even tried to contribute some of my
trials along the way.

However, as it goes and grows I might say I'm disappointed that
there's more than one forum for us. This makes folks scramble back
and forth to get important and desired information on one forum that
may or may not be on the other. Then we have to read those damn
double postings. I know it' not your doing or desire, but it is what
it is.

Personally, I'm kinda worn out, and will unsubscribe from receiving
emails from both forums. Instead, I plan to simply search for fixes
as needed, and add what I can as I scan. Its just part of being a
selfish, greedy, lazy baby boomer (boneafied)

I was enjoying the camaraderie of the forums, but realized it was not
the way. I mean I've been in big trouble supporting the wrong
terrorists group for years, and now, I know where I failed some of you.

So they created the "All" forum. What a bad idea. It's like romper
room with no teacher for the immature. Have fun kids. Even if the
lies are laughed at - you've lied. Live with it in your own time now.

Not you Ernie, but to the rest, good luck with that ego, and may your
ashes be blown to the highest of places as you might deserve, but some
will be grounded.

Not to say I'm a quitter; I'm just confused with double postings and
can't take the high price of diesel along with the bandwidth of so
many snippets. So thanks for making my bird experience so enriched,
and I'll just see ya around the campfire.

Look me up for a good time or a kick in the shins anytime, both are
with love.
