Oshkosh 2007
There seems to be interest in a get together at Oshkosh 2007 for the
airshow If you are interested let me know I need your name phone address and whether you are an EAA Member tentatively staying at Camp Scholler which is directly adjacent to the airfield You have to be an EAA Member to stay in this primitive campsite (no Hookups but there is water and dumps nearby) only stuff provided are toilets and showers and a 20x 30 site One coach and one vehicle per site This years prices are 40.00-60.00 for single m,embership 50.00-70.00 for family memebership plus 18.00 per night camp fees If we have a minimum of 20 coaches we will have a reserved area with part in the pet area so people with pets and those with out will park together. Firm Dates will announced later but this year runs from july 24-30 One of the caveats is that we all have top assemble beforehand and arrive at the camp together If already not amember of the EAA make sure you time your membership so it does not expire before the airshow next year If interested drop me a line at cape0001 at gmail.com Stephen 77fc35 Stephen 77fc35 |

FYI There is also the option of staying in full generator section which means
you can run it night and day if you want to. Other sections have restrictions on generator hours which are enforced. I have been many times and give it the highest recommendation; be sure to go to the float plane base. I am starting to work on arrangements for Oshkosh 2007
What I would like to know is what time frame would everyone one like the whole 10 days first half, second half, middle for the stay at the park Bearing in mind that this is dry camping. There are dump and fresh water facilities. A number of attendees will have pets so at least day generator will be needed Looking at the maps if we arrive at the begining and at roughly the same time it would be possible to span 24 genny, pet area, day Genny and no genny. A possiblility that we may be able to meet at Mike Hohnstein's and proceed as a flock to Oshkosh approx 1 hour away (30 minutes for Randy 2 hours for me) Also a reminder that at least one person in each coach must be member of the EAA http://www.airventure.org/2007/news/061026_2007.html Dates for Oshkosh July 23-29 2007 Stephen 77fc35 |

Oshkosh 2007
Hi Stephen,
I'd be interested in attending from Wednesday the 25th thru Sunday the 29th (second half of the show) For most of us, boondocking 5 days is not too much of a problem. I also have a portable 55 gallon tank that goes in the toad and a 1 HP transfer pump for fresh water if any one needs a "refill" after a few days. I'm assuming that there are water outlets around the parking area. What about the condition of the soil? Are we going to have problems sinking in if it rains? Oshkosh 2007
Being the new kid on the block, and only been involved with this forum, a short
while, I had no clue there are a group of ppl, that attend Oshkosh, for the Air Fest. I have been a PPL, for 10 years now. With this being my first camper, I have never camped there, I have either flown, or driven in my car. I stay in Fondulac. However, once I finish getting this ole gal checked out, I plan on wandering in my lodge, for the better part of this year, so maybe I'll see some of you out there. I fly 152s,172s ,PA200, some areobatics, (Super Decathalon) Been to Sun and Fun, too, We have a club here( KFIT), that has about 100 members that meet once a month. Jimmy Harvie 82FC 35 Ft Boston Stephen Birtles is called the Scholler Farm so that should give you some idea I hope it doesn't rain after all it is an airshow Stephen 77fc35 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "sfedeli3" <sfedeli3@...> wrote: > > Hi Stephen, > > I'd be interested in attending from Wednesday the 25th thru Sunday > the 29th (second half of the show) For most of us, boondocking 5 days > is not too much of a problem.
