ART, Most, if not all, are dead ahead of the
steering wheel, topside on the inner rim of the windshield. Might need a mirror or read from outside loking through the top of the windshield. bob janes, 87fc35, greenville, sc --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "amweath" wrote: > > I have to take my newly bought '85 PT 36 to the DMV for VIN > verification. Art,
Our coach is as Bob said. Our coach has a second VIN tag. It's on the forward end of the drivers side window frame. Stand outside and look through the windshield, near the bottom of the window frame. That's also where my vin # is located. I finally "snapped" a picture of it
with my digital camera along with the information plates on the generator, rear end, and body, enlarged them all and keep them in my important information folder in the "blue Box". - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX _____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of one_dusty_hoot Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 6:28 AM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: VIN location ART, Most, if not all, are dead ahead of the steering wheel, topside on the inner rim of the windshield. 91 freeway eh. Cummuted that way for ten years. Thank God I'm not doing it now
(retired in '94). Yes, I'd like to get together for a beer. You know I met you at Quartzsite. I was the fellow who drove out to look. I was in the maroon El Dorado. Art,
Now I know why your name is familiar to me. Several drove out to meet us at Quartzsite. Sign up for the 2008 Quartzsite outing at http://www.southwest-bluebirds.org/ . Phil is doing a great job developing the site. I'm retired as well, beer time here starts at 4:00, or there abouts, or some days it's just beer-thirty somewhere. My phone number, cell 714 269-6187. Address is 7630 E Camino Tampico, Anaheim, CA. When I'm home you know you are welcome. Please stop in. I look forward to our meeting again.
