NEW KONI SHOCKS
i have spent the week replacing the monroe shocks on the front of our
bus with new knoi shocks. wow----- how new shocks make the ride soooo smooth. sure has cut down on the rattles and make it very responsive in turns and sure does smooth out the railroad tracks. while it was up on blocks i also greased the front end and pulled the brake drums and checked the linings, and both fronts looked very good. in a few weeks i will replace the rear shocks and then it will ride great. i got the new shocks at http://www.shox.com and the people were great to do business with and i got the shocks in two days. i also went to the public scales today and got the weight of the bus. total weight with full fuel was 30,240 lbs.steering weight was 13,020 lbs. and rear weight was 17,220. can anyone tell me the proper torque of the lug nuts on the front wheels. this is the last thing i need to do on this project. ed and peggy mcstay 83FC. NEW KONI SHOCKS
Ed,
are the new shocks self adjusting or are those only offered for the rear?
