Does anyone have an Audiovox MDU-6000A CB Transceiver that is operable that you
would like to get rid of.
Also need a digitel brain box for an 86 PT40, 8V92.
Thanks,

Howard,

You can contact audiovox, they do repairs on some old units. I sent my
audiovox back they could not repair it. They were able to sell me a older unit
that they had at a discounted price.

Hi Howard:

Is your digitel control box gone or just not working? I have raised the
e-prom then re seated them and brought the digitel back to life. Though
your not missing much of anything really.

I had left mine on after repairing it, was driving at night and out of no
where came a voice, You,, are,,exceeding,,55, miles,,per,, hour. Made me
jump as I was not expecting it. Then the basic voice when you first
turn it on is "I,,have,, checked,,your,,system,,and,,they,,are,,ok" LOL

Try re seating the e-prom and clean the cable connections.

Safe travels,

Ralph,
The Digitel was not working when I bought the coach and was not high on the list
of things to do. The previous owner said BB-Ft. Valley checked it and said the
board was bad. I did take the board out clean it and reseat the prons with no
results. It's still not a high priority item but just like to get everything
working if possible. This coach was purchased by previous owner in 1991. His
wife died in 96 and it had pretty much set in his storage barn since her death
in 96 except for occasional 70 to 90 mile runs to exercise her. I purchased her
in 2005 and she is as factory complete as any 21 year old coach out there. My
wife and I took her out for a Sunday strole of about 150 miles and she made me
proud. She ran 220 to 230 oil temp, 175 to 185 water temp. Cleaning the radiator
has helped with temps. I would encourage everyone to clean the main and ginny
radiators. Also the fan blades needs cleaning.
