Anyone have an oil filter number for the Yanmar generator motor?

Hi Scott,

My Yanmar 12.5kw generator has a Wix filter on it, filter number
51334. Hope this helps.

While we're at it, I have some questions about oil on the Yanmar, if
someone can answer them:

1. What type of oil to use? I've heard 15/40, that right?

2. How much? Do I simply fill it to the line on the dip stick? Mine is
a good bit below the line and the oil is ugly. Needs changed before I
run it again.

Scott,

Yanmar gen. oil filter I have Hastings LF402. I've actually been
putting together an excel spread sheet with all filter makes and
numbers for the yanmar and the 8V92 if your interested.

I have a 12.5KW Yanmar 22Hp diesel generator on my 86 PT40 and have the
following filters. But as always check for yourself.
Oil Filter, Kohler 252834, Wix 51334, Baldwin B227, Car Quest 85334
Engine Fuel Filter, Kohler 252765, Wix 33390, Baldwin BF940, Car Quest 86390
