Ryan mine is located behind the left panel beside my left knee. The panel on
mine has the controls for backup camera, chassis heat etc. Remove panel and you should find two plugs. One for engine and one for transmission. They can be hard to locate as there is a lot of wiring in there and they just laid the plugs in on top or under everything. On 03/07/07, Ryan Wright > > Anyone know where it is? '86 PT-40 8V92 Tri-Cities, WA Thanks for the responses, I think they will be able to find it now. The tech is an Allison trained guy at a local Kenworth dealership. -Ryan On 7/3/07, Ryan Wright > Anyone know where it is? My Allison tech can't find it. > > -Ryan > |

On my 86 8V92 it is behind the drawers at the center of the dash.
Remove the drawers and you will see it. Thanks again to all. We found the thing mounted on a panel in front of
the driver's left knee, partially obscured by some wires and a flip down foot rest thing. I drove out there and laid on my back between the seat and the pedals digging and looking for 45 minutes. In the end the damn thing was right in front of our faces the whole time. Appreciate everyone's help! You saved me having to dig through the engine compartment, because that's surely where I would have been after not finding it up front for so long. -Ryan On 7/3/07, Ryan Wright > Sorry folks, forgot to sign. > > '86 PT-40 8V92 > Tri-Cities, WA > > Thanks for the responses, I think they will be able to find it now. > The tech is an Allison trained guy at a local Kenworth dealership. > > -Ryan > > On 7/3/07, Ryan Wright > > Anyone know where it is?
