Hot Feet - More questions

I have been filling in any places that air can enter from the doghouse.



- I need to replace the rubber boot/bellows that is around the throttle rod.
Blue Bird says they no longer have these. Has anyone found a source?



- The throttle rod connects to a bell crank. This whole are is exposed to
the engine compartment. It looks as if it could have a cover plate. Is
this area normally open on a FC?



- James, what was the "high heat tape" you used? Is lit like exhaust
muffler tape?



Any suggestions would be appreciated! I am slow to respond as I am playing
"house husband" right now with Kathy laid up. (I haven't killed her with my
cooking yet!)

i found that shutting the gate valve in the heater hoses in the vicinity of the
passenger
seat, reaching up thru from under the front of the coach reduced the hot feet
issue. I think
air was getting blown over a hot heater core.

The heater valves (4) have been closed since the weather warmed up.
