Generator is fixed
My generator is running again. Sure enough, it was the brushes. Thanks
to all who helped. I greatly appreciate all of the advice and extra
thanks to the people who called me. I'm sorry it took so long to
figure out such an easy problem, but on the good side I now know
enough to do fairly intense troubleshooting on the generator's various
components. I have a whole lot more confidence in working on it now!

Again, I appreciate everyone's help. These forums and the people on
them are amazing. I'm certain that without these resources, I'd be
paying a several hundred dollar repair bill and having zero clue how
to fix it myself if it ever broke again. Now, I'm confident I could
fix it on the side of the road if I ever had to.

Congrats on the gen fix Ryan. I once had a 40' Eagle sidelined because of a
single burned wire at the starter solenoid. Ain't it amazing that something
so small can cause so much trouble. Look at it like this, YOU are worth much
more than you were the other day, and so is your gen. Regards, George Burke
