Leaky Brake Valve
Hey Group!

I have a leaking foot pedal brake valve. Leaks when I press the pedal.
In the event I need to replace it, does anybody have a part number
handy for a '83 FC 35.

Thanks for being here to help!

There's an entry in the Parts Data Base for a brake valve. Not sure
if it's the one you need. You also might want to review the Air Brake
Troubleshooting Guide.pdf in the Files section.

Mr. Bulriss,

Thank you very much! I have not been able to verify that this is the
right part number for my BB, but I'm going to pick one up on the way
in from work. The parts house has plenty and I'm trying to have one
last HURRAH with the kiddos before they start back to school. Don't
want to be "locked up" on the road!

Much appreciated!!

Bill,

LOL - Thanks, but.... Actually, I don't remember it that well, but I
know where to look! Adding many of the items to the Files, Links and
Databases for the forum, I sometimes remember adding something, but
the forum resources are actually a big memory bank for all of us! I
try to add things that I see posted that will help us all in the future.

Another useful tool is the ability to do a search on the posts. Also,
Yahoo has recently expanded the space available to us, so members can
now document their projects pretty well in the photos section. Mike
Brundridge's AC project was particularly interesting in the Photos.

Got the valve... not the problem. Left front brake line is the problem. Now I've
got to get one of these made up tomorrow morning. Looks like it is time to
replace all of 'em.

Oh well, I've found out it's not sucha big deal to get the tire off,
especailly with my 1" impact. Not got to use that thing yet. Quite a piece of
machinery.
