New Diver seat installed and boy what a nice modern change it makes to
an old 78 Bird. Tight fit but works out just great!

Looking good! I cleaned up the extraneous img tags that made the links not work
in e-mails

These seats can trace their ancestry to a remodel of Blue Thunder by Rich Ducci,
circa 1996 I think.

Thanks again for the great seats, just wondering what does that extra
switch does on the side of the seat? I think its some kind of back
massage? I will hoke up a temporary 12 line with a fuse installed
and test that switch tomorrow. Thanks again and Rebel Bird says
thanks also!!! With a great big air horn
blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the seats have a 'lumbar support' feature that adjusts
pressure against your lower back. You should be able to connect the
wires to the rest of the electric control wires. Since you're
unlikely to be moving the seat adjustment on one side as you move the
lumbar support switch on the other side, you're unlikely to overload
the basic circuit. It does make a rats nest of wires under the seat,
though.

I also have a non-powered switch that adjusts the seat back tilt.
It's a little further back from the lumbar support switch.

That's a power lumbar. I will miss it - I see what looks like a lumbar cushion
on your dash, so you may appreciate it also!

Correct! They are the original 1990 WLWB seats, repadded and recovered
in Ultra-Leather in 1996+/- by Muriel's Uhpolstery in Perry GA. Nice
seats! You will like the adjustable lumbar support.
