Hello everyone
I have asked and received permission from Randy to make this post. I
am a member of FCRV and am also a chapter president of the Pollywog
chapter here in Thomaston one of the newest chapters formed (spring of
last year)).

The national website is http://www.fcrv.org. This organization is FAMILY
oriented. We hold national/international, regional, retiree, state and
chapter functions. Upcoming events are the GA. fall campout OCT 19- 21
at THE PARKS at CHEHAW in Albany, the New Years Campout DEC 30- Jan 2
to be held at HILLSIDE BLUEGRASS RV PARK. The national retiree rally
to be held Mar 11-16, 2008 at Rayne Civic Center Complex, Rayne, LA
.The next southeast regional will be June 5-8 at the Diamond Lake
Resort in Owensboro, KY. The next national campvention will be held
Jul 4-10 in Center Hall, PA.

Georgia currently has 5 zones with 7 chapters. National dues are
$25.00/ year, state dues are $5.00 /year. Instead of making this a
very long post, I will just highlight some of benefits. You can check
the national website for more detailed information: Flying J discount
card, MASA, discount on insurance, quarterly magazine, quarterly state
newsletter, Disaster Awareness Training, Conservation, Scholarships,
and Friendship.

On a side note any one that will be here for RITV, the GA. Dept. of
Natural Resources -SAM SHORTLINE Railroad is hosting Thomas the Tank
Engine, OCT 26-27-28 at the GA .VETS State Park in Cordele.
