RIV AND RATS

[Stephen Birtles]

We arrived home last evening at around 8PM and started unloading the
coach. The vise grips held up all the way home A wonderful tool and
everyone should have at least 5 pairs (wink). WE wound up with an
overcharging problem on the way home but it sure made the headlights
bright @16 volts will be fixed monday, water heater and motoraid is
next before storage
Now its time to fix all the stuff we broke on the way down and back
Fuel was a consistant 2.39-2.50 all the way to New York then back to 3.00

We would at this time like to thank all the participants for great
food and hospitality and would hope to see everyone again soon and
there is an open invite for anyone in this area to stop in and visit
although we have no room for a coach in our driveway we would be happy
to tour anyone around the area

A special thanks to Woody and Darlene Wood for letting Stephen "help"
and also to Bill and Pat Kirchener for letting Alysha use the Segway
Believe me it was a high point for of the vacation for both of them
and Betty and I thank you all

Even though we were unable to attend for Blue Bird's participation at
RATS thank you and thank you for letting us tour the RIV it was
enjoyable to see the new coaches a truly great product

The people were great a good time was had by all and we will see you
all next year at RIV AND RATS

I thought that i would pass on this information from Macy Neshati

I would like to invite all who are planning to attend the RATS rally
to drop by the RIV and join us during the day for any of the free
activities. There will be seminars, vendor displays, flee markets and
a fund rasier for the Roland McDonald House.

I can't speak to the past and don't pretend to be smart enough to
understand what has transpire in the past. But I can tell you that as
far as we are concerned EVERY BLUE BIRD owner is equally important to
us. It doesn't matter if you have no plans to every buy a new coach,
if you are a parts customer, a service customer, in need of technical
support, want to hang around and enjoy the company of friends we view
each and every one of you as an important member of the BLUE BIRD
family.

I hope you have a great time at the RATS rally, and I hope you take a
some time out of your day to come spend it with us. We will be
soliciting all of your input on how we can make the RIV more
appealing to more of you and hope that next year we can continue to
work towards uniting the whole family.

In the mean time, travel safely and see you at the RATS.

Well yesterday we left for 2 rallies the bus was loaded the toad was
full and we were on our way
Drove about 40 miles and started hearing little noises stopped to
investigate seemed to be coming from the compressor.
Called the cat dealer in Buffalo and drove there now the compressor is
making big noises
Unfortunately it is Friday evening and all the parts joints are closed
for the weekend no new compressor until Tuesday then install
Bottom line is We are not going to make it to the rallies.
We are going to miss meeting all our friends both new and old
I hope that everyone has a great time and see you all next year
