New Bird look
Macy, there are some great people on these forums, and then as you well know, there are the others. Those pretenders who like being your friend when it suits them, and then attack you when it suits them. I was told early on in my management career that," peoplewho don't make mistakes don't get anything done ". Wonder how many mistakes those people have made in their careers? Anyhow, I think that you guys have done a tremendous job, trying to get this company turned around, and becoming a profitable entity once again. I wish you all the best. I wouldn't lose any sleep over what has been said. I would think that the pretenders would not be able to do what you do, else they would be doing it! Best Regards and Build them with Pride , George Burke

Rob, who said "Negat". I think like your post on the commercial
forum looking for pics at the end of the countdown, many were disapointed. I never read any negitive comments about the bus. I also never thought to consider the hard work and overthe top effort that goes into building the coach. I'll say one thing, The Bus looks like a Million Dollars. Macy, I think you and the CCW/Coachworks staff did a remarkable job in getting the 2009 prototype out the door in such a short time.
I will say, the countdown clock on the 'legacy' web site _did_ create an anticipation that photos of the new WL would appear after the countdown ended. No photos = some disappointment. I've got to admit, that when I visited the legacy site on the 17th (having been at MacWorld SF on the 16th), I was surprised to not see any photos... So, let's just call it a marketing goof and leave it at that. The last-minute preparations are no surprise and the focus on being ready for the official introduction surely played a role in not realizing the expectations you may have raised on your web site. Appropriate quality professional photos take time -- and obviously the time wasn't available. The coach itself is beautiful -- and the craftsmanship reflected in the vehicle is outstanding. You and the whole team are to be congratulated for bringing it all together. I look forward to seeing the professional photos on the web site when they're available... (No hard feelings on my part.) big project you forget to eat, sleep and everything else, remembering to take pics of the project would be on my short list for sure. i have never seen a picture of a show coach on anybodys site, ever. New Bird look
Good note Rob! I can't believe some of the whining about lack of
pictures from the factory. You know it wasn't long ago that the whining (including my own) was about lack of support from the factory (previous ownership) and that the owners of CoachWorks could care less about the older birds. Now we have seen our wildest and most unimaginable dream come true, that is of a new ownership that has an interest and passsion for the product. So what do some do in appreciation, complain about pictures of a new bird that most of us will have to wait 20 years to afford anyhow. Come on folks, quit crying and start congradulating the owners and workers for what they have pulled off in an incredually short amount of time. Congradulate them for being open minded to the older owners. And congradulate them for incuding us in their shining moment. Macy and co, congradulations on what I hear is an impressive 'bird that looks like will be the start of resurecting the prestige of Wanderldoge! New Bird look
I too congratulate you on the successful new product. There are
things I love and others not particularly, but with the time constraints and different views of what the product should be, that is the way it is. The most important is the fact that there is quality and reliability back in the product. We all have different design tastes. I know first hand as a retired architect. I've never had two clients exactly alike. I look forward to future developments and products. I love my Bird. R.E.
