Silent Auction @SWBB Quartzite Rally

One of the most rewarding events at the SWBB Quartzite Rally
was the silent auction for our favorite charities. I chose one of my
favorite charities, the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Society.

Afterwards, I heard last night about one of our SWBB attendee’s
tragic situation about their son, who has a short time expected and a dire
needs for funds. Unfortunately, I did not get the details and information
necessary to make a donation before we left this morning. If any of the
Lone Star Birds has this information, please pass it on so I can contribute.

Tommy & Carolyn:

The SWBB family in question is Dick & Joyce Hayden from Washington.
They came to the first two ralleys but due to her son's illness they
were unable to attend Quartsite last year and Buelton this past year.
They own the 87 PT 38 "Freebird". Her son's name is Brian Morris
and his address is 18814 B. Iris Court, Arlington, Wa. 98223.

Sorry you didn't get the information sooner. I tried to get the
word out to as many bidders as possible. But, I didn't want to
interfer with the one's that had their own charity.

Thanking you in advance for any help you give.

Sincerely

Linda & Jim Marsh
