I have a 1983 PT 35 6v92 with a 5 speed. We where going to change the
transmission oil and the spin-on filter.The filter dose not have a
number,dose anyone know the number and brand off hand. Thank You

Try these guys. They're an Allison dealer. You'll need the transmission model. And they are close to home.

Derek,

Go to the "Files" and look in a file named Bluebird Filters. There's
an entry for a 1983 PT that I compiled when I had my 83. ;^)

Derek,

I forgot to mention that you will need to get the internal filter and
gasket kit for the MT654CR tranny from the local Allison dealer that
Curt referenced.

Thank you for the help.I did not know of the filter files. Thanks
Curt, for the Allison dealer name. I made it over before they closed.
He new what the filter was by looking at it before I was able to tell
him what it was.

Derek,
Glad this worked for you. These guys know what they are doing...for parts and for testing/diagnostics/resolution. Record these guys in your list of good-things-to-know.
