Rust!!!

They sure did!!! I'm ready to go again. Ethel really enjoyed the trip
and that made it especially nice for me. This is the first thing we
have done together in a long time that both of us where equally and
totally enthusiastic about. Ethel really enjoyed meeting the people
and even Emma (our dog) I think enjoyed herself. Emma is really
stuck on Ethel isn't she?

I scheduled off some time for the Hershey car show weekend ( Oct 8 to
11). I think Shane is going to try to organize something that
weekend and if so I am going to trying to help. I'll be more of a
giver and less of a taker, promise.

Hope Mike and Judy are getting their coach issues resolved. I felt
like I was having all the good luck and the Brody's were having all
the bad. Just seemed like it was going from bad to worse for them.

That is true, expensive paint, but can paint it right over the brushed off area. I used that on my step plate when I had it all torn apart.

I have not heard from the Valley as yet. I know there are some items required that will keep the coach tied up for some time.

The rotator cuff gets repaired on Thursday. When I am off the happy pills, I will start chasing down the service department.

Regarding the rust, phosphoric acid will convert the rust to a paintable substrate. Itshould beavailable at any auto paint shop, Lowes or Home Depot.

Maxton was an absolute hoot and a fabulous turnout.

After wirebrushing I spary painted my Propane tank on my 97 BMC with
a good gray primer, two years ago. So far it has held up great.

I decided to go with rustoleum. Some times good enough is good
enough and I am certain you guys all understand. There is a limit to
how much time and money and how close to perfect I want to get this
thing. I tend to be pretty particular but I can get obsessive as
well so I got'er done this morning. It will likely outlast the coach
and me. Also cleaned up and painted the inside of the compartment
doors. Like I said OB-SESS-IVE.
