Interesting way to look at the high price of fuel
This may sound kind of odd but I kind of think of our fuel usage as
kind of what last year price was and today's price. If I think that way its only about dollar more per 10 miles and if I go say 200 miles its only 20 dollars more than last year. So if I can not afford 20 dollars extra over last years than I better get out of the RV game. Now if I was to refuel my rig at 160 gal. it would only be 160 dollars more than last year. Or last years fill up at 480 dollars over this years 640 dollars. Him only 160 dollars and there again does it make sense to not enjoy my rig and sell it-no way! I still can get 1600 miles on a fill up and again maybe if times really get hard I will just drive down to Mexico and get diesel for 2.20 a gallon. Life to short to just sit at home and not do what you want to do if you have some extra cash to do those things. Jon Rebel Bird |

Interesting way to look at the high price of fuel
It's an amazing price either way, either half or double the going rate in the US ... Can someone figure out which?

Interesting way to look at the high price of fuel
My guess is he means Ensenada, Baja California Mexico so he probably
means $1.97 per gallon at this local Pemex station. No, it's likely Baja California (Mexico) and the $1.97/gallon would be
correct. Interesting way to look at the high price of fuel
Well, if it is in British Columbia Canada, it would be 1.97 per litre.
We are paying $1.35 per litre here. Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge" Terrace, B.C. Canada ----- Original Message ----

Interesting way to look at the high price of fuel
I dont know where that poster got his prices for fuel in Mexico. many
of you know we live in Mexico. Fuel is priced by the litre. Diesel is currently just under 6 pesos a liter. Gasoline is over 7 pesos a liter. There are 10.4 pesos per a US $ . You do the math! But the best part is the diesel is "full strength". None of this sissy green ULSD . This is real fuel with lots of cetane and loads of sulfur. Bruce 1988FC35 |
