still trying to fix the engine air conditioner
We don,t sell freon over the counter in Wisconsin so I picked up a
service kit from a k mart in Michigan yesterday.......upon following the directions I first wanted to check the system presure with the gauge that came with the kit.........It registered 65-70 pounds on the low side....the kit instructions say if its this high to seek professional help....well, I think we have a few people on this forum that know air conditioning so if you could email your land line # to my email address I will give you a call to discuss the next move...I think maybe the compressor is shot but thats only a guess........Thanks ...DAN SAARI 1992 WLWB 40ft. Dan: With everything off, disconnect the wire from the compressor &
jumper it directly to the Battery. The clutch should engage(Click). If the clutch is engaged and the pulley turns with the engine running. the compressor HAS to turn!! ... unless the compressor is seized, in which case you'll fairly

still trying to fix the engine air conditioner
In the FWIW department, When I went to recharge my dash air, I found
my "half full" 30 pounder to be empty. So I stopped by to get a new one this morning. Talk about sticker shock!!!! The price is now $408!!! Last year I paid around $70 for the same thing. The manager said that there had been a shortage of 134a lately and that the price was "all over the place". Might be a good reason to use the roof airs only.
